Oxley’s By The Numbers Expansion & Remodeling

Davis Wince, Ltd. designed Oxley’s By The Numbers Café at The Ohio State University. This addition expands Oxley’s from 60 seats to 90 seats by adding a new area specializing in coffee drinks, ice cream and light snacks.

Located in the heart of The Ohio State University campus, the Oxley’s expansion will offer fireplace and comfortable lounge seating. Furthermore, it provides table seating which can be used for studying as well as provide overflow seating for the existing Oxley’s peak hours, allowing more turnover in the food line.

The expansion utilizes the same vocabulary of materials as the existing Oxley’s while introducing an agreeable curved design. The expansion creates a new ADA accessible entrance in the existing storefront system for a future retail space.
